Introduction
Turn on your faucet and have ozone water. In 1840 German scientist Schonbein noticed a unique smell after doing some experiments, he called this gas "ozone.”Since then, scientists in Europe have researched the characteristics and applications of ozone. The realization that ozone can kill bacteria led to more and more industrial applications. In 1870 a beef factory in Switzerland found that ozone kept meat fresh, and the rest is history.
